Animal Welfare

Keeping the tails wagging

At Paws and Poses, we only ever work with the best. We carefully choose breeders who are ethical, verified and demonstrate a high quality of care and well being with the pups. There are no neglected or poorly bred dogs in our sessions. Every single breeder is chosen to ensure the animals are coming from loving and healthy breeders, so that our morals and values are never misaligned.

We also only ever feature one litter per session. This is to ensure the puppies wellbeing, both physically and mentally.

We demonstrate further care through our cleaning protocols. We have strict health and safety guidelines for our customers (such as no shoes policy, and hand washing before class) on top of our use of F10 Veterinary Grade disinfectant before and after every single session! This leaves both pups and humans with a safe and clean space to enjoy the sessions.

Puppy yoga is a great tool for young puppies to socialise with a small group of people in a calming and quiet environment, to prepare them for their future new homes. However, not every puppy wants to play for an entire session. This is why we NEVER force the puppies into an activity they don't want to do. Whether they want to eat, sleep, run or play -- they have full freedom to do what they want, when they want. We provide everything the dogs could need so that they enjoy the day stress free and enriched.

Above all else, we discuss with every breeder we work with what works best for their pups so that the breeder is happy. At the end of the day, no one knows the litters better than the one that has cared for them since day one! We work closely with them to ensure their dogs are safe, happy, well fed and not distressed.
